From Broadway to Buenos Aires, from Stuttgart to Seoul, Keith Batten has directed over 60 theatrical productions.
His original production of The Sound Of Music / La Novicia Rebelde won the Best Musical award in Mexico. He is also Associate Director of the Broadway production of Spiderman. As Associate Director with Walt Disney Theatrical Productions, he maintained both AIDA and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST on Broadway, while staging new produtions of both shows worldwide. Among the hundreds of talented actors he has directed are Toni Braxton, Deborah Cox, Deborah Gibson, Andrea McArdle and Michelle Williams.
Prior to Disney, Keith worked for 7 years with Cameron Mackintosh and Mirvish Productions as Associate Director of LES MISERABLES and Executive Producer of MISS SAIGON.
He began his career with 5 seasons as Member of the Company at The Stratford Shakespeare Festival, where he also co-directed (with Robin Phillips) PRIVATE LIVES starring Maggie Smith and Brian Bedford, and directed HELOISE and ABELARD starring Roberta Maxwell.
